DESCRIPTION:\nListening With – Being With –Yourself and Others\n\n\nWe are excited to welcome Vincenza J. Baldino, MA, Marriage and Family Therapist to facilitate this powerful offering.\n\nThis hour of connection will provide thoughts about trauma from three specialists’ viewpoints and exercises that Resmaa Menakem MSW, LCSW, SEP teaches.  You will be led to experience your inner being and contemplate the usefulness of these exercises in the field of Yoga Therapy for trauma survivors.\n\n\nParticipants are encouraged to ask questions and reflect.\n\n\nVincenza began her career with a degree in Social Welfare, working in various non-profits and private practice starting in 1980 through the present. She has been a licensed Marriage Family Therapist in California since 1989.   She has been committed to community mental health, and social justice throughout her entire career, and demonstrates this through her clinical psychotherapy work, community volunteering, and pro bono services. Vincenza began her yoga spiritual practice in 1998, being trained as a beginners level Integral Hatha Yoga teacher, then trained in two levels of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, and received certification in Yoga of Recovery. As well, Vincenza studied Yoga Studies through the California Institute of Integral Studies. Vincenza was certified as a California Association of Marriage Family Therapist Clinical Supervisor and provided many years of supervision and consultation for clinicians.\n\n
