SUMMARY:Sangha Circle
DESCRIPTION:Assessing Clients via the Pranamaya Kosha\nWe are excited to welcome Rashmi Galliano-Grigsby C-IAYT, ERYT 500 for October’s Sangha Circle!\nThe one major tool that we have as Yoga therapists is the understanding of the Panchamaya kosha model and in particular the pranamaya kosha. This is where Yoga therapy excels –acting as a bridge between physical therapy and psychotherapy.\nThe pranamaya kosha is a unique and powerful assessment tool, and is the perfect place to begin when assessing our client and composing a plan of care. The characteristics and traits of pranamaya kosha include chakras, prana vayus, nadis, mudras, and of course the breath. What is presenting? Where is / are the obstacles? What yoga tools will benefit the optimal functioning of the  pranamaya kosha?\nThis month in our sangha circle we’ll look deeper into the qualities of the chakras and the prana vayus. If time allows we’ll discuss the nadis and explore some mudras, together discovering ways to apply yogic applications that address the pranamaya kosha.\n \n
