SUMMARY:Sangha Circle–Pranayama for Improved Health & Vitality
DESCRIPTION:Pranayama, Yogic breathing practices, are a useful tool for any Yoga therapist to have in their toolbox. So many physical conditions can be greatly improved when pranayama is added to one’s lifestyle. Many mental conditions are alleviated with Pranayama.\n\nWe are excited to welcome Margabandhu to join our Sangha Circle to discuss how adding Mudras and bandhas to a breathing practice enhances pranayama’s efficacy and the application for Yoga therapists.\n\n\nMargabandhu Martarano, E-RYT 500, has served as director of the New Jersey Integral Yoga® Institute for over 50 years. Margabandhu is a senior certified Integral Yoga instructor, proficient in all aspects of Yoga. His long term passion and expertise is in Pranayama. He has a B.A. in education, is a master herbalist, and is certified in therapeutic acupressure massage and reflexology. Margabandhu is also the director of the Well Being Center in Verona, NJ, a holistic center specializing in all aspects of health and healing.\n
