Testimonials

This course was a gift for the times we are in and a great resource for all the times we feel overwhelmed in the middle of a pandemic. I expected to learn Stress Management tools from yoga that I could apply to my private sessions and workshops and I did get that. What was unexpected was all the new coping skills so naturally became a part of my life in such a short amount of time. This training has not only prepared me to teach in a variety of environments to help those who suffer from stress and anxiety, it has given me the tools to make relaxation a priority for my own well-being too. I cannot think of two better teachers to learn from or think of a better time to learn this than now. — Brigitte Arle

AMAZING! Changed my life! I was inspired to do some deep soul searching to facilitate my personal growth. The teacher-trainers are the best I have come across in years. It includes discussion of how yoga intervenes in managing stress for people of color and for those who are incarcerated. Can’t get better than that! I am taking a lot of what I learned back to the women and girls of color SisterMentors serves. I highly recommend this course. — Shireen K. Lewis, Ph.D.

I would highly recommend the SMTT Program for EVERYONE. It doesn’t matter what your background is, your profession, age, or current situation in life, this program brings you the tools to make living everyday life easier. The tools that you learn in the SMTT course build your resilience and are accessible to anyone, anywhere, anytime. And the best part is that you learn how to share this information! — Raisa Punkki

Everyone should take this course. I was told by a former student that the course changed her life. That raised my expectations and the course did not disappoint! The course has helped me personally since week one and continues to do so. Now having the gift of this knowledge to share with people is amazing. I don’t think there is anyone who does not have stress in their lives and so many of us don’t realize the impact it has on us. Having the tools to manage how we cope with stress is more realistic than thinking you can get rid of stress. This course makes finding balance feel possible. — Anne Tedesco
