Sangha Circle–“Developing a Personal/Professional Mission Statement to Guide Your Life’s Work”

Join Steffany Moonaz, PhD, C-IAYT and Founder and Director of Yoga for Arthritis and IYTh faculty on Saturday, May 7th at 12pm ET for this month’s Sangha Circle.

Together we will take an introspective dive into developing a personal/professional mission statement to guide your life’s work!  This interactive discussion will be led by Dr. Moonaz, and you are encouraged to come prepared with your thoughts and questions.  Make sure to bring a notebook to jot down your inspirations during the hour spent together to help in crafting your mission statement!

Dr. Steffany Moonaz founded Yoga for Arthritis after 8 years at Johns Hopkins University where she studied the effects of Yoga for people living with arthritis. She now serves as the Director of Clinical and Academic Research at the Maryland University of Integrative Health, which offers the nation’s only Masters of Science in Yoga Therapy.

Steffany continues to conduct research on the effects of Yoga for chronic pain and joint conditions, and mentors Yoga teachers, Yoga therapists, and emerging researchers. She is passionate about ensuring that Yoga practices are safe, welcoming, and appropriate for people with arthritis nationwide.
