Alessandra Uma Cocchi, MA, C-IAYT, serves as an Integral Yoga therapist, Integral Yoga trainer, and Accessible Yoga trainer for Europe.
She founded YAP Integral Yoga Centre in Italy (2004), and YAP Specialized Yoga aside in 2015. The latter represents the Yogatherapy branch of the original non-lucrative organization, and focusses on three main directions:

• Yogatherapy, Accessible and Specialized Yoga services to private clients and groups;
• Continued training education for Yoga teachers and professionals;
• Observational studies on yoga and inflammatory diseases, in co-operation with the medical research team led by Prof. Antonio Di Sabatino, University of Pavia, Italy. Most of the work has been focussed on inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome, but an observational eye is being kept on many other pathologies.
