| Homework assignment to client/group | I encouraged the guys to do some stretches in addition to their basketball games and workouts. We’ve been talking about things they can do that don’t look/feel weird or call undue attention. |
| Activities | WARM UP / MOBILIZE / CENTER Lunge drills Challenge / RTA - core work to pigeon, thread needle, prone shoulder opener BALANCE LYING We talked a bit about chakras, why I don’t teach kundalini… You can imagine a brilliant divine light which is beyond all anxieties, fear and worry –SSS I honor the light in you that is the same light in me. |
| Client/Group progress summary | Very focused group today, concerns about how the list is being handled and why a few of them hadn’t been to class in awhile. Some other feedback: |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I considered calling out today. I just wanted to sit on the porch. I prayed for willingness and got my butt to the detention center and had 2 great classes. That’s how I keep getting confirmation that I’m on the right track, or at least in the right place for today. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | I plan to keep doing what I’m doing, maybe start a process of keeping some sort of notes that feel appropriate. If I keep the current group, I’ll find a way to teach them about the chakras 🙂 but not kundalini. |
| Report briefly on each Kosha below | Progress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas |
