| Goal for implementation with client (Specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, time-bound relating to the client): | The client will do this practice for 5 minutes after her office work is done. She will do this daily for a week, noting how she feels after the practice. We will meet after a week to discuss the progress, future sessions, etc. | ||||

Report Information | |||||
| How did you envision working with the client(s) to incorporate the selected teaching? (Define the plan) | The client did this practice while I was guiding during our first session. She will practice this on her own or following the recorded video of our practice together. She will do this daily for 5 minutes after her work. She will contact me if she needs further assistance. | ||||
| What branch(es) of IY did you use? How does each support your goal/relate to the key teaching? | I used the 7th branch of Raja yoga, meditation. Awareness is the foundation for conscious change and for making choices by giving one personal knowledge that empowers one through shifts and changes on all levels of being. | ||||
| Short notes on time with client: | I had my client fill in the intake form ahead of time and send it to me via email. Then we met over the online platform. During our first session, we did centering, hatha yoga, and other practices including Awareness/Witness practice. We then discussed the possibility of doing this practice daily. The client agreed to my suggestion to practice this right after their work and to record her effort. | ||||
| Follow up suggestions for your client (whether with you or on their own): | My client liked this practice very much and showed interest in doing this in the morning instead of doing after work as suggested. I suggested to follow what works best for her and may be adding more practice sessions as a quick way to center her. | ||||
| Reflection | |||||
| Did you apply your intended plan once you met with the client(s)? Was the goal achieved? Explain. | Yes, I did apply my plan once I met her and the client liked this practice very much. She was able to identify where she holds tension and stress in her physical body. | ||||
| Did you have to adapt anything in your plan? What lessons did you learn? | Yes, the client liked this practice and wanted to switch her practice time to the morning instead of after work as suggested. She liked to start her work by noticing how she felt for the day and adjusting her emotions and thoughts accordingly. She also showed interest in doing this during her work time as well. | ||||
| If you are faced with the same situation again in the future, would you approach it in the same way? Why or why not? What went well? What you might change and why? Summarize. | Yes, I will recommend this practice as this enables one to get in touch with all levels of their being and to relieve stress. My client liked this practice and did it as a quick way to reset her between her meetings and work time. I assisted her with a shorter version of this practice which is less than 5 minutes. May be I will do the same in the future if the client shows interest in this. | ||||
