Client/Group progress summary

Haven't seen client in a few weeks. Client is not as flexible as before with hips and movements. Can see the difference when the client is not consistent. I ended up doing a 90 min session because we chatted for longer than normal because we hadn't seen each other in a few weeks.

Reflection and self-evaluation

I ended up not doing most of my plan because he shared with me that he lost his job a few weeks ago. We moved more to get his energy moving. The client felt tamasic. I did all the warrior poses so the client can feel the strength and stability and the counter poses so he can feel the peace. My hope was for him to get his energy flowing and find the strength and peace within. To feel centered after he was knocked off balance with the loss of his job.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

Tree pose in segments. Starting with leg lift forward at 90 degrees. Then left and rotate to the side. Then lift and put toe on ground and finally, do all the motions and put the foot on the calf. Asking If he can center, feel the stability and focus in his movements. Question: Can he feel the steadiness in his mind, body and breath?
