Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.

Adjustments and adaptations you made to your care plan,

I adapted asanas for the individual in each class, while also encouraged them to lean less when it came to balancing.
During our sessions I also needed to find what works for them to center and meditate and that became a big focus. They still need some practice in their stillness, but it was much better.

Client/Group Goals

They all made big steps towards their goals. They are doing more asanas, breathing and meditation on their own and have decreased pain and tension.
The student that had weight challenges really inspired the group as well with her sharing of her goals and how she felt changes in herself and body.

Report briefly on each Kosha belowProgress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas
Physical level

Decreased pain and tension, weigh loss

Energetic level

This group became calmer and began breathing deeper and more connected.

Emotional

Emotionally they are a private group, but with one students journey with the changes in her wellness affected the whole group positively.

Intellectual / Sense of self

As the practices grew and they began using them at home they realized that they have the power to release pain and tensions by what they were learning. They have control over their well being.

Spiritual orientation and support plan

While this group enjoyed the philosophy teachings, I do believe there was growth or take aways for them in the aspects of spiritual support. Hopefully we can deepen this learnings when we work together again.

Additional Information
Feedback received from client/group, anecdotal or written

All 3 of these students experienced changes in their loves that they share throughout and at the end of our time. Feedback was positive and they would like to continue working with me.

Sample of homework given between sessions (after initial homework)

They were given a few asanas to maintain while breathing, walking meditation and encouraged to keep a ritual in the mornings and yoga nidra for evenings as continued practice.

Personal reflection from doing client/group.
Rough estimate of time spent in preparation and follow up documentation per session1 hour
What you would change with benefit of hindsight

Beginning the course sessions with the idea that we will be working through yoga philosophies and why.

Questions, problems, areas in which you’d like more support

i would like to deepen my knowledge in the area of restorative yoga when it comes to all back related contraindications and benefits.

Did you enjoy your service?
