Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.

Adjustments and adaptations you made to your care plan,

I added some poses from the Osteoporosis protocol, and added some different uses for props to attempt to raise the comfort level and decrease resistance.

Client/Group Goals

I do see some increased willingness to do something a little different than exactly what I am/ everyone else is doing and to drift a bit from what they are used to. I believe there could be more progress toward their goals if they were willing to use a chair for balance and transitions, and a prop to sit on. Some have become willing, but not many.

Report briefly on each Kosha belowProgress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas
Physical level

this is the very athletic minded group. Their physical conditioning shows. Some have been willing to use props to improve physical posture and alignment.

Energetic level

The energy level remains consistent. They seem more confident with the breathing practices.

Emotional

still fairly steady, some more expressive with stressful feelings

Intellectual / Sense of self

as folks became more comfortable, some shared about insecurities such as in comparison to others, and have begun to ask me more questions when they have them

Spiritual orientation and support plan

not a lot of information here, although they do express appreciation, especially when we do some sort of metta meditation or meditation for peace.

Personal reflection from doing client/group.
Rough estimate of time spent in preparation and follow up documentation per session30 minutes
What you would change with benefit of hindsight

I’d insist on props. I’d use them more from the first session and explain why.

Questions, problems, areas in which you’d like more support

I can’t think of a group I’ve ever had that was so resistant to props. I did bring this up in groups and have gotten better with how I offer them and giving more reasons why, and bringing them out for different sorts of reasons so they aren’t a “crutch” but a support in a more positive way.

Did you enjoy your service?

I do enjoy the service a lot of the time. Honestly, this is my least favorite class. I have to think more about why.
