| Client/Group progress summary | Client is still feeling extremely stressed due to the ongoing kitchen repairs and renovation which should be finished this week. She has done very little selfcare over the past two week. She also forgot about the Raja Yoga handout I sent her last time. She habitually puts herself last after her family and work responsibilities. She loved the practices we did today. After just one round of brahmari (we did three), she stated she could feel her nervous system calming down. After our session today, she texted: "I didn't want today's session to end. That's a good thing! I was feeling so much relief and so in-tune with everything. Thank you!" |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I enjoyed working with the client today, although I felt very frustrated with her at the beginning of the session because she hasn't been caring for herself well at all. But I loved seeing her resonating with the pranayama and the meditation. When she commented about being unable to get her mind focused, I was able to normalize that for her. I instructed her to just watch the mind with a sense of curiosity; train it patiently like a toddler or a puppy (she giggled at that). I hope she really does the practices every day so she can experience the effects in her life. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
