Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)
The outline should show the sequence of practices as you plan to offer them. Your care plan proposal should be approved by the mentor before session 2 if possible, or 3 if approval is delayed by mentor.

Questions? He is doing well and seems to be more relaxed. Moving left leg on his own. He had a good week. I picked surrender in terms of Ishvara Pranidhana. We discussed the difference in passive surrender and surrendering that is empowering. Allowing the armor to drop and allowing the possibility of feeling and experiencing more sensations, emotions and connecting to spirit. Deborah Adelle The Yamas and Niyamas. He connected with allowing that surrender to the universe as a way to open the door and allow transformation/healing.
Connect to breath, deepen and lengthen inhale and exhale -pause between. Allowing the armor to sink away as the relaxation grows.
Intro Psychic NS
Movement r foot L arm -progress movement into lifting leg slightly and lifting arm
Inhale Lift R arm L foot/leg Exhal slow release then opp side
HW do one of above multiple times before going side to side
He did these with greater ease I asked for more effort in the movement to create more strength and ROM.
Cervical movements
Sit up lift from shoulders and elongate neck- (no tucking chin)
Bridge
First engage Back muscles on inhale by bringing shoulder blades together and down
Then lift into bridge ( **you probably want someone holding lower legs and feet -hip width apart.) Inhale lift pause then slowly lower. Keep working on counting to 3-4 on each inhale and exhale to slow and control the movement.
Light twist
Bend knees drop both to L on exhale and inhale back to center then R side.
** Clam shell drop knees out on inhale bring together on exhale
Review Psychic NS
Rod Stryker Nidra Script: Sankalpa, Nidra, psychic NS, sensation light/heavy, cold/hot, images, journey to heart Center, Sankalpa
(I did a NIDRA workshop and have a few different examples of Nidra)
Client/Group progress summary
His progress on legs is certainly noticeable. His left upper body continues to be stiff and less inclined to move. There is more edema here as well. His mood as usual is good and ready to do or discuss what I have prepared.
I feel it is time to dig deeper into his emotional mind.
Reflection and self-evaluation
This was another great session. I am trying to move through the exercises timely so we can have time for guided meditation and extra breathing practice.
Final Client/Group Report
After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session
Allow more independence with his bridge, working on deeper longer smooth breaths-being in bed and rarely getting up requires more intense pranayama practices that he can do.
