| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Number of sessions completed | 7 |
| Date you started seeing client/group | 05/29/2024 |
| Total hours of all Yoga Therapy sessions with this client/group to date | 10.5 |
| Adjustments and adaptations you made to your care plan, | We followed her care plan for the most part, the biggest adaptation is the time spent on discussions. This was longer and the most valuable towards her care. |
| Client/Group Goals | She was defiantly on her way towards her goals, i would have like more sessions with her. |
| Report briefly on each Kosha below | Progress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas |
| Physical level | She is a healthy and strong young woman with no major physical concerns. We didn't adapt in her asana practice at all and she correctly did the poses. |
| Energetic level | This client energy was generally on the lower side, sleeps well and takes a lot of rest during the day. When we started she had a very shallow breath held in her chest and that changed very quickly to a full belly breath that i think really helped her energy level. |
| Emotional | She still carries unwanted worry about tings she can't control. We called them stories. while she was having less anxiety feelings she is still holding on the some the fear. |
| Intellectual / Sense of self | She acknowledges the changes that she needs to make within herself and her mind which is where her anxiety exists. |
| Spiritual orientation and support plan | This client was really not open to the spiritual aspects of yoga. |
| Additional Information | |
| Feedback received from client/group, anecdotal or written | This client had really wonderful feedback she wrote to me after our last session, the biggest take away was she loved the check in between sessions. |
| Sample of homework given between sessions (after initial homework) | I gave this client a morning ritual with a mantra, she received a guided meditation as well as a short asana practice recorded. I think it a good way for her to remain in her practice for continued growth. |
| Personal reflection from doing client/group. | |
| Rough estimate of time spent in preparation and follow up documentation per session | 45 mins |
| What you would change with benefit of hindsight | i wouldn't change the time spent with this client. |
| Questions, problems, areas in which you’d like more support | I would like to be able to be better at suggested a client stay on longer. |
| Did you enjoy your service? | yes |
