| Client/Group progress summary | Abram - "struggling", did bring his mat, but did not put it down. Made comment about most participants wanting chair practice - encouraged him to use his mat as much as he would like, and that he could explore poses standing if he chose to. Martha - advised energy good at check in, prefered chair practice. (Has prostetic right lower leg) At the end stated she felt relaxed but not tired. Will - very upbeat, rajasic mental energy. Asked questions about movement. Did engage with the practice, but struggled to find stillness during shavasana. Shared he felt tight and achy at the beginning of practice, stated that all the movements felt really good at the end of practice. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | Especially with Abram wanting a more active practice, offered different options - to stay in the chair the entire class if one chose, to explore poses standing with support of the chair or at the wall - encouraging each participant to pay attention to sensations in their body. Encouraged each that they were the expert of their body, which Will seemed particularly surprised to hear. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
