Homework assignment to client/group

bring balance into her daily routine, the supported tree pose making sure there is a chair or counter for support

Activities

Discussion and check in

we spent the almost entirety of this session reviewing and directing each pose and breath, and added a supported tree pose into her practice

she really needed full understanding and watch and have me watch and correct her and make sure she was breathing correctly

We did yoga nidra, then a meditation on listening to our body and breath with trust and awareness.

Client/Group progress summary

this clients progress was a win!
during our check in I was looking at her hands and she had noticeable increased movement, later she shoed me and said she has never been able to that before (thumb in and wrap each finger around and rotate wrist)

each pose we went through there were significant improvements and she ws really working on her breath to connect it to the movement

Reflection and self-evaluation

I had a whole plan for this practice and i had to throw out the window and go with what she needed, it was actually amazing.

though this session wasn't a typical practice, we celebrated all the growth she had and wrote down the things she need to work on

during her nidra and meditation she was very present and centered

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

I really hope to have her feel a full moving meditation in connection to her breath
