| Homework assignment to client/group | Continue to have fun with doing yoga her kids. Make a crudités platter with her kids. Enjoy these moments. |
| Activities | Grounding, stretching, warm up Continue with 3 part breath. Sun A, W1, W2, W3 all with each counter pose. Continue to strengthen and lengthen. added some backbends: salabhasana - starting with lower body, upper body and then lifting upper and lower. Slowly working our way to the full pose. Cool down, yoga nidra and relaxation We spoke about summer being hot and lots of heat and in Ayurveda we have to watch what we eat so we don't get "over heated". I asked if she can incorporate more cooling, raw foods in her diet. Make a crudités platter and have her kids help her and make it fun. Wisdom: Maya Angelou - There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you. This came to mind when we were checking in and she was telling me about what recently happened between her and her boss. How her boss is always taking credit for her work and she continues to feel stifled. I suggested journaling about her feelings and what she wants from work besides paying the bills. |
| Client/Group progress summary | She states her back and neck pain have been feeling so much better since YT. The client has made a lot of progress with her back pain. Her minds has seem to become a bit quieter as well. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I enjoying hearing about her kids and it always reminds me of the joy and frustrations. I will continue to be present with her. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | Continue to add more backbends, lengthen and strengthen. Ask if she started journaling. |
