Questions?
Struggle with depression -House in Mendocino is being house sat by old girlfriend, who has substance abuse and a difficult relationship with him. So I brought up planned topic Vairagya. We discussed things that stabilize and relax our life Sthira/sukham as helpful and learning that somethings we need to let go of energetically and “reality”.

1. Teachings: Vairagya: Practicing non-attachment and letting go of our desires and aversions, as described in Sutra 1.15.
Using imagination to daily picture his house clean and safe with a great caretaker.

Imagining peace and stability on inhale and releasing negative thoughts on exhale.
Pause on spaces between IN retention and EX suspension

Client/Group progress summary

Comments :
He did some knee extensions and ankle movement with legs on his Peanut (an exercise peanut like a ball, both legs can fit on).
Standing requires his legs to be strong and straight.

We are getting deeper into his life circumstances aside from the GB and Heart disease.
He has been commenting on discomfort in his setting. This is a coomunal house that is a bit multigenerational and on the property marijuana is grown.

Reflection and self-evaluation

This was a surprising visit in that we got to one of his main causes of sufferring outside his physical circumstances. Also more alluding to his dicomfort still being in this house when he thought he'd be walking by now .
He responds well to the movement with breath, it links the strength and difficult work with PT into smaller peices that he can apply to create more ease.
When bridging is difficult he can strain in breath and body.
Soften his thoughts towards himself, work hard with ease and be vulnerable

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session
