| Activities | Centering. Netra Vyayamum. Asana (Chair Yoga) – Japa – Joint movements of the hands. Body scan. Meditation - guided meditation visualizing Jesus Christ and a white loving light followed by prayer. Reframed Wisdom Teaching Sutra 1.3: Then the Seer [Self] abides in His own nature. |
| Client/Group progress summary | This was the fourth session and client appreciated all of the practices. Client reports that she has continue to do the joint freeing movements for the hands, and has incorporated walking daily as part of her practice. Client says her eyes feel too confined or limited. For many years the client decorated white cakes and this was hard on her eyes. While doing Netra Vyayamum clients eyes began to burn and tear so I asked her to close her eyes and to do the practice with the eyes closed. This worked well for her. I instructed her to do it with eyes closed for now. We will try with open eyes after she has been practiced with her eyes closed for some time. She loved this practice. She was enjoys the guided meditation on Jesus Christ and his love and white light coming from him, as depicted on one of her favorite pictures. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I had not seen this client for a while because she had been away then I was away. It was good to see that she is keeping up with some of the yoga practices that she learned. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
