| Client/Group progress summary | CJ - tamasic, in wheelchair with injuries to ankles/feet. Also deals with poor circulation and neuropathy in the feet and hands. Said practice was the most movement he’s had in a while. Very engaged. Reported feeling “better” after practice. Really enjoyed web/claw/beak/paw, encouraged him to continue the practice. Lucy - Described energy as good, called by doctor after 10 minutes, returned for Shavasana. Matt - Quiet except for sharing his name, tamasic but alert. Engaged with practice, indicated he felt good. Enjoyed brahmari breath. African American woman in the back of the rec room, upper 30's/low 40's - At a distance but engaged with the practice. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I always feel the transition leaving 4N and coming to 3N to teach. I take a 15 minute pause to wash my hands, ground and center (often the heaven and earth grounding practice), and prepare for a very different energy (knowing it is usually more tamasic). |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | Similar to 4N it's hard to set an exact plan, but I know certain practices will benefit them every week: netra vyayamam, deep breathing with perhaps brahmari, depending on the group gentle kapalabati or alternate nostril breathing. |
