| Activities | This report is for the sessions on 8/2 and 8/9 As always, I led a few minutes of center practice to begin. Physical practices are sun salutation, 15 minutes of guided body scan to relax her body and mind followed by brief meditation. 8/9 Today's session began with checking in with Reina to see if there were any challenges or changes physically and mentally. She reported her shoulders are relaxed and she noticed her posture was better. She practices neck/shoulder movement every day with the video I recorded. We started with a brief meditation for a few minutes. We moved to a series of physical movements, neck/shoulder stretch, JAPA and sun salutations then seated poses. These seated back stretch practice helps reduce her LBP. To end the session, I led yoga nidra and 3-parts breathing. |
| Client/Group progress summary | She described her recent dreams are vivid but not agitating, she uses breathing practice to go back sleep after awakening from a dream. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | As I saw her every time, I noticed her voice sounded happier. She describes her activities with joy. Our sessions and her visiting her sister, and meeting other family members also help her mental/emotional state, more positive. The homework assignments and wisdom teaching are working well. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | I will continue to follow this care plan for the next several sessions. I will introduce new asana or wisdom teaching when I feel it’s appropriate. |
