Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)
The outline should show the sequence of practices as you plan to offer them. Your care plan proposal should be approved by the mentor before session 2 if possible, or 3 if approval is delayed by mentor.

Activities
Check-in with the client (Did you do the test or read the articles?)
Talk about the importance of meditation, as she has problems quieting her mind because of GAD:
"You can't stop the waves but you can learn to surf" Zinn, J. K. (2005). Wherever you go there you are (2nd ed., pp. 195-200). Hachette Book Group.
"Meditation is neither shutting things out nor off. It is seeing things clearly, and deliberately positioning yourself differently in relationship to them." Stress is an inevitable part of life. Winds of stress stir up the waves in our minds. Suppressing your thoughts will create more tension and inner struggle. "It's possible through meditation to find a shelter from much of the wind that agitates the mind."

Client/Group progress summary
She had gastrointestinal distress. She was feeling better but still very tired. We didn’t do the asanas, just some stretching on a sitting position and 3 part breath with legs up the sofa.
We talked about the waves of the mind and how to learn to surf. She has a very bad opinion about herself, always thinking that she is not good enough.
In the Mayo Clinic website, they include the following symptoms for GAD:
Indecisiveness and fear of making the wrong decision
Inability to set aside or let go of a worry
Inability to relax, feeling restless, and feeling keyed up or on edge
Difficulty concentrating, or the feeling that your mind "goes blank”
Although she is very smart, she can’t concentrate well, so her grades are not what she expects them to be. We talked and she created affirmations. But when she said the affirmations in her mind, she could not believe on them.
Reflection and self-evaluation
I changed the plan, because of her stomach issues, and adapted for what I felt was appropriate for her.
Final Client/Group Report
After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
