| Total Session Minutes | 120 |
| Homework assignment to client/group | Homework: Diaphragmatic breathing. Continue with engagement of muscles in mountain pose, W1, W2 & tree pose with slow breaths in and out. Holding for 30 sec +. Practice daily so the poses can become firmly grounded and rooted and thank our bodies everyday when we wake up. Continue to be aware of posture in daily life. |
| Activities | Grounding/Centering, breath work - diaphragmatic breathing We continued with tapas - the burning and discipline, gratitude - for our bodies and now I added Sutra 1.14. Practice that is done for a long time, without break and with sincere devotion becomes a firmly rooted, stable, and solid foundation. Continue practicing at home, even though these session has concluded. Seated Warm ups: shoulder rolls, neck stretch, wrist rolls, side stretches, twists and bouncy twists Wall stand: Working on the mat: Warrior 1 and 2-all with muscle engagement and holding for 30+ seconds Tree pose-3 times for 30 seconds Extended relaxation - Restorative pose and body scan meditation |
| Client/Group progress summary | GB - not present. GB-vacation. DM, DB & CM-present Redid last week's session because GB was on vacation and the only one present last week. All did very well and focused. They did not practice the poses at home but have incorporated the diaphragmatic into their daily lives. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | Really enjoyed working with the group. I like the small group of 4. It was easy for me to observe each client without feeling overwhelmed. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | This concludes the group. |
