| Presenting Problem | loss of strength and mobility |
| Physical | Theis client is a bit overweight which limits her mobility, she had bakers cysts behind her knees which made movement painful, but she isn't experiencing pain in her body currently. |
| Client/Group goals | gain strength, balance and mobility |
| Energetic | When she wants to she can breath deeply but she doesn't connect her breath to her movement and body. |
| Emotional | She is very happy and is quite confident which is interesting considering where she is at when it comes to moving her body. I am curios to learn more about where she is emotionally. |
| Spiritual orientation and needs | She is a spiritual person, a holistic Veda instructor and energy worker |
| Intellectual / Sense of self | She comes across as a very strong women and had a good confident sense of self, even though she has put on a lot of weight over the last few years she is not body conscious, and even doesn't carry limited beliefs about aging. she is 61 |
| Yoga philosophy/wisdom research reference(s) | I am not sure where to go with her yoga philosophy because of her own practices, but considering just Pranayama to begin our sessions. |
| Scientific research reference(s), why chosen, how you plan to incorporate 1-3 | She doesn't have pain in her body at the moment just some stiffness in her joints. because of the bakers cysts she is hesitant on stairs and can't really get on and off the floor. We are doing a chair/mat practice and will be using the chair to work on getting on and off the floor as well as straps to strengthen her muscles without over stretching. |

| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
