| Client/Group progress summary | Savannah - checked in feeling "good," slightly rajasic, very engaged in the practice. Juliet - shared it was her first time trying yoga, tamasic, quiet but also very engaged in practice. Cynthia - rajasic and enthusiastic for practice, shared she was very experienced in yoga and brought a mat for practice. Also engaged, but left before Shavasana. Joyce - tamasic, engaged more with the back half (seated portion) of the practice. Jermaine “May” - Rajasic, engaged with practice. Mid-way through commented that he was enjoying yoga and was going to try it more. All participants reported feeling "good," "calm" and "relaxed" at the end of the practice. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | Often with the group in 3 North there is a lot of tamasic energy - heaviness, depression. While this group has more tamas than 4 North, it was the most engaged a group has been on 3N since I started teaching back in May. They shared feedback on what they were feeling in poses, laughed, smiled, asked questions. I really enjoyed guiding them and sharing the practice with them today. Because there was a little more rajas than usual it was the most active session I have led in 3N. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | I will continue to teach next Tuesday, sharing the practice with whoever comes. This was the last session of the case study. |
