All Hatha Yoga Poses given thus far.

I am pleased that Yoga tools are working for you so well. It was good to hear that you keep finding your centeredness especially in situations that are not pleasant, and you are able to walk away without any emotional turmoil – Yay!!!

Review:
Wisdom Teachings
Study Sutra I.17 – Samprajnata samadhi (distinguished contemplation) is accompanied by reasoning, reflecting, rejoicing and pure I-am-ness.
Sutra II.35 – Ahimsa – In the presence of one firmly established in non-violence, all hostilities cease.

Meditation

Wisdom Teachings:
Sutra I.16 - When there is non-thirst for even the gunas (constituents of Nature) due to realization of the Purusha (true Self), that is supreme non-attachment.

Chapter V, Verse 15 – The All-Pervading take no account of anyone’s virtue or sin. Wisdom is eclipsed by cosmic delusion; mankind is thereby bewildered. The Bhagavad Gita

Chapter V, Verse 16 – But in those who have banished ignorance by Self-knowledge, their wisdom, like the illuminating sun, make manifest the Supreme Self. The Bhagavad Gita

Client/Group progress summary

Client values the wisdom in the Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita very much. She is beginning to study on her own now.

Client says “she keeps finding that centeredness. Things that really throw her, like going to court with friends is her least favorite thing to do. She prayed and meditated before and she got through without any emotional turmoil.”

Client said, “ever since we talked about the stillness of water and the ripples – she asks herself how is the state of my lake.”

Reflection and self-evaluation

I find that I learn so much from my clients and also with my clients.

This client is making the most of the wisdom teachings and that is a delight.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
