Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)
The outline should show the sequence of practices as you plan to offer them. Your care plan proposal should be approved by the mentor before session 2 if possible, or 3 if approval is delayed by mentor.

Client/Group progress summary
She was feeling very well. She finished her last acupuncture session last week. She is studying the koshas in Julie Lusk’s book and was amazed to know the healing that comes from yoga nidra and that Yoga Therapy works with the koshas. So we talked about the koshas before talking about the Kleshas. She did journaling on the yoga of suffering and the vrittis.
Tomorrow she will meet her electrophysiologist and is apprehensive that he is going to suggest oblation. I suggested that she ask him about the side effects and then she can decide if she is doing it or not. Better be in the moment.
I noticed that when she breaths, her chest is fluttering. In the dirgha swasan, she is inhaling belly-ribs-chest, but exhaling first through the belly and then the chest. We need to work more on that.
She asked her primary doctor for an Endocrinologist referral but didn’t get an answer yet.
She liked the affirmation. She will record it and visualize her cells drinking prana. She loved the adapted fish, with a bolster under her thoracic spine and a pillow under her head. This asana opens up the thoracic cavity for more prana.
She was just practicing the Sun salutation at home. Today she asked me for the whole sequence and I sent it to her.
Reflection and self-evaluation
I love to connect with JD, she is very open to healing, and we have deep conversations. The problem is that we lose track of time. I always ask her if it’s ok to finish some minutes later and she always agrees. She said, “ I could be here the whole afternoon.” And I feel the same.
Final Client/Group Report
After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
