Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)
The outline should show the sequence of practices as you plan to offer them. Your care plan proposal should be approved by the mentor before session 2 if possible, or 3 if approval is delayed by mentor.

Homework assignment to client/group
Step back from your mother and the contractor and your employee and observe yourself. (Rember that we can not control another person’s behavior, we can only control our behavior.) Practice becoming present in the Witness to observe tendencies to become snappy and/or angry and avoid interpersonal conflicts that cause you harm and harm others. Regardless of what others say or do you must control yourself. I know you want this!
Decided on a repercussion for yourself if you snap at someone: If you are snappy with someone, select one thing that you like to do and give up for the whole week; or select one thing that you don’t like to do and do it all week.
Practice being mindful/present during activities such as:
o While walking your dog observe your breathing.
o Be mindful/present when doing things like cleaning, showering, walking.
o Listen to Krishna Das chants while driving and chanting along.
o As you move through your day practice being present in the Witness to observe yourself.
o Practice standing and sitting straight.
Keep in mind the practice of non-harm (ahimsa) and start with yourself. Non-harm in thought, word and deed. Think of what you do that harms you so that you can change the pattern. Think of yourself in good terms.
Bring a recorder to record Yoga Nidra during our next session.

Client/Group progress summary
Sacral Assessment did not show any shift in client’s sacrum.
During Yoga Nidra I could observe the client breathing normally – her belly was expanding first.
During the Close Out at the end of the session, client shared the following:
Client noticed little bit of difficulty when in doing Netra Viyayamam when she moved the eyes to the left.
Client reported that she has been scared of doing Kapaalabhaati in the past because she felt that she can pass out. But she didn’t feel anything like that when doing the practice.
Client reported that she got one hot flash while doing Dirgha Swason.
Reflection and self-evaluation
Client was 10 minutes late to the session, so when we met I asked client how much time she had for the session and she said that she didn’t have any time limit that night.
I found client ready and very much wanting to take this session. I also found that the client was tired and she moved slowly, and during Dirgha Swason she yawned a lot.
At the end of the session, client said “now I want to study Yoga Therapy”. I was surprised and quiet and then she said, “when all of this gets resolved.”
It would greatly help her to study Yoga Therapy. I hope she can do that someday.
Final Client/Group Report
After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
