2. Lower body muscles strengthen exercises

3. Eye movement: 1 or 2 times a day and as needed.

4. JAPA Meditation with Alternate Nostril Breathing, suggested combining his 10-minute daily practice with the affirmation, “I trust my body’s ability to heal and restore itself,” which became his favorite mantra.

5. Seated gentle stretch

6. Gentle neck/shoulder stretch

Activities

He reported that he has recovered from his fatigue and restriction of his food intake due to the dilation procedure, energy level has also increased.
I began the session with guided breathing practice followed by eye movement. Dan enjoys eye movement, he practices daily, and this helps him to relax his mind.
Then we practiced a series of asanas and stretches, begin with neck/shoulder stretch, and joint freeing practice on the chair using a strap, balancing, lower body muscle strengthening, and seated poses on the mat.
Next, I discussed the concept of non-attachment, which I had introduced at the beginning of our sessions a few months ago. He mentioned that his daily practice of alternate nostril breathing combined with affirmations and meditation is proving effective. He noted, "I don't think about my lawsuits or financial concerns as much as I used to." It's great to see his efforts paying off and making a positive impact on his mindset and emotional well-being.
To end to session, 15 minutes of yoga nidra helped him to relax physically and mentally followed by brief silent meditation.

Client/Group progress summary

Dan continues to show his progress, both mentally and physically. I observed his balance improved since we began heel-to-toe walking practice. Also, he acknowledged that his balance was better when he was less stressed and his mind was calm.

Reflection and self-evaluation

Dan's wife Annie started a new job recently and is working in the office now, Dan is staying home and doing housework. I think this is working well, he has to take care of things in the house, move his body more, and use stairs, all these activities are helping to improve his physical health.
I am adding new activities gradually and also asking for his feedback to adjust the practice, this approach is helping

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

I will continue to follow this care plan for the next several sessions, additional asana will be introduced gradually.
