Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)
The outline should show the sequence of practices as you plan to offer them. Your care plan proposal should be approved by the mentor before session 2 if possible, or 3 if approval is delayed by mentor.

Homework assignment to client/group
he is continuing toward on his homework assignment

pendulum swings , cat cow, and child poses,
He could work on the concept of pratipaksa bhavana, replacing a negative thought with a positive one, he could start by using a gratitude journal writing 3 things he was grateful for during the day and reflecting on this in the evening, this would raise his awareness for negative thoughts and over time turn them into positive ones.
Activities
The client is now using a heating pad before we meet for our yoga therapy session, so the muscles would have increased blood flow and movement might we a bit easier as the muscle is already warmed up. He agreed.
We checked in about his level of pain, he states his shoulder felt a little stiff in the morning but its ok now.
Started out in mountain pose, checking into his body, checking into his breath noticing any tension in his body and sending a mental message to release. Starting with shoulder roles in both directions.
Chin to chest pendulum movements
Ear to shoulder movement including moving the opposite arm backwards and feeling into the stretch on both sides
Chest openers, with imagining pressing a beach ball together.
Forward bend agains the wall with pendulum swings of one arm and then the other.
Forward bend with engaging the back muscles, like in a baby cobra on the floor, which he is not able to do because of his shoulder.
Half lifts
walking his hands up the wall, both sides
table top with circles
child pose from child going into cat cow and then going back into child dynamically with focus on the in and out breath
half dog on both sides
table top with fire hydrant leg circles to work on gluts in both directions on both sides
table top with straight leg and kicks towards the ceiling to work on gluts.
then going on to the laying on the back, in savasana, with guided imaging drawing inward focusing on the breath the heart beats the blood flow thought his body nursing the cells with oxygen.
chest to knee pose to massage the lower back
windshield wipers to work on the hip joints
pelvic tile to massage the lower back
pressing the knees against the palms and hold for 5 counts, 3 times to engage the abdominals

Client/Group progress summary
He was able today to reach his left arm towards his trapezius muscle. This is higher than he was able to reach for month. He is able to reach behind his back. He was able to stop his ibuprofen because his pain improved.
He is now able to reach his arm forward in child pose
He is sleeping better
he is making an effort to eat less sugar
he feels calmer in stressful work meetings
Reflection and self-evaluation
I am happy because he is seeing improvement in his flexibly and strength.
He is motivated and engaged and shared with me that he prefers yoga therapy over PT because of the whole person approach and also because the treatment involves his whole body as opposed to only his shoulder.
Final Client/Group Report
After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session
I will continue with my current plan, so he can develop a routine and start practicing on his own, we talked about writing his plan down so he can follow the plan on his own, he is aware that his is alongterm plan and that there will be some ups and downs along the way.
