Presenting Problemosteopenia
Physical

59 year old female. Has bad wrists and right side low back pain. Never had any surgeries. Has to 2 grown children who are out the house and a supportive husband and group of friends.

Client/Group goalsincrease flexibility and bone density
Energetic

She was present but more reserved. She did not elaborate on any of the questions. She had reached out to me to continue with yoga to my surprise. Although she showed up during the group sessions, I didn't get a feeling that she was seeing the benefits or enjoying the process. I obviously was wrong.

Emotional

Reserved. Has a supportive family. She relaxes by gardening, walking and mushroom hunting. She likes to be with nature.

Spiritual orientation and needs

She's an atheist. She doesn't believe in a god but believes in goodness of others.

Intellectual / Sense of self

She's incredibly smart and a voracious reader. She's more reserved. I notice she an observer of the situation, people and lets others talk, unless someone is incorrect or she has something to add.

Yoga philosophy/wisdom research reference(s)

Sutra 1.14

Do it every day without break, with all earnest for time so it can be firmly rooted, stable, and solid foundation.

I'll explain that yoga is cumulative. Even when we she's home, she needs to do her exercises daily so it can become a solid foundation.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
