| Homework assignment to client/group | Write down a stressful situation that occurred during the week and what was reaction, what changed form when we started. Also, 3 daily asanas while breathing. |
| Activities | Centering with body scan and 3 part breath, Concept of when stressful situations happen to let go of resistance and understand there are things we can't control. There are also things we can control, or reactions, our breath and our thoughts. Asanas- gentle warming neck shoulders and seated cat cow, legs long knees, ankles Pranayama- Extended exhalation during class, and at the end breathing into hand on belly and heart Meditation- Nature is ever changing, this visualization of watching leaves move from green to yellow and red to bare to flowers to green leaves again. Philosophy is Aparigraha, non attachment, to things we can't control to understanding that life just like nature is ever changing. |
