Please include at least one suggestion from Karma, Bhakti, Raja, or Jnana Yoga tailored for this client/group.
Over time, we want to see something from each branch, selected, adapted and re-framed appropriately. Tools from each module should be used (not on each client/group – but overall)
The outline should show the sequence of practices as you plan to offer them. Your care plan proposal should be approved by the mentor before session 2 if possible, or 3 if approval is delayed by mentor.

Movement exercises working
Practice
Continue to use his Om with movement. Alt sides exercise
Connect to breath, deepen and lengthen inhale and exhale -pause between. We revisited the slow, deep calm breath. He has not been really paying attention to mechanics.
Exhale om (to help feel and hear the breath) Listen to the om and feel the vibration
Imagining peace and stability on inhale and releasing negative thoughts on exhale.
Pause on spaces between IN retention and EX suspension
Joint movement
Discussed Kleshas why we practice? To help minimize the obstacles
Ignorance (ex: regarding impermanent as permanent) egoism, attachment, aversion/hatred, clinging to bodily life
Client/Group progress summary
He has turned a corner- his legs are moving more in synch -so L leg is doing almost as well as R leg.
More hope in his attitude.
The Klesas discussion was well received in context of why we practice our yoga.
Still trying to get him to write daily. Journal
Reflection and self-evaluation
The Kleshas are a good subject in that he relates back to things he feels attached to like outcomes or the way life was going and now it is all different. He was connecting his practice to creating a more in depth view of himself and life in general.
Final Client/Group Report
After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
