| Homework assignment to client/group | 1. continue to practice ha breath and to remember to use during periods of low energy. |
| Activities | Review past practices including walking sound, asana sequence. Continued to teach ha breath and client was better able to convert to nostril breathing this time. Explained to both mother and client that during periods when she is feeling lethargic and without energy (tamasic dominance), this breath can be used to help activate her without the use of caffeine. Explained that this breath would be less helpful during periods when client is agitated. Discussed again, the true nature as being pure and healthy and calm, with parents and client; related true nature to AN herself and to helping parents conceptualize illness as not a part of AN's nature. Parents feedback is that they have noticed great improvements in client's behaviors/agitation and her ability to engage with them at home. She has been helping her mother in the kitchen more. Expressed gratitude. |
| Client/Group progress summary | Overall, client is progressing and improving. On 2-3 days of the last week, no episodes of agitation. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | This has been a very rewarding experience in hearing the parents' gratitude and in being able to learn about Chinese culture as I help to care for my AN. She herself, is becoming more engaged and her self of having a clear and separate identity is improving. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | After bouncy twists, consider doing active meditation practice with both AN and her mother. |

| Additional Information | |
