Client/Group progress summary

She is having problems with her CPAP face mask. During the night, she involuntarily takes it off. She wants to try again the nose mask, but now she will use it with a snoring device in her mouth, which prevents her from opening her mouth when sleeping.
She has been having asthma attacks recently. I told her that deep exhalation is very important for asthma. She said she drank Pepsi and this caused asthma, because of CO2.
She didn’t do the asanas or the yoga nidra. She does the pranayamas every day, but not at a certain time of the day. She is not journaling.
She wanted to practice the asanas in her bedroom for more privacy. In a previous session, I asked her to purchase a foldable chair that she could use in her room, but she hasn’t done it yet.
She said that her hip is twisted, which is why the ardha matsyendrasana is very different on her right side.

Reflection and self-evaluation

She is in a worse situation than when we began, but I think now she has the tools to use for her healing if she really wants to. She lost her pace probably because I was away for 10 days.
This was our last session in the program, we’ll resume our sessions in November.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
