QUESTION: How do I get my support? What are some new ideas / possibilities for support?
PAUSE: when you think of it, take a pause during your day. Deep breath and ask yourself: “What do I need right now?”
ASANA PRACTICE: I’ve made note of all we did today. We’ll practice again next week. Fingertips on shoulders and rolling forward and back, Thread the Needle, etc.
POSTURE PRACTICE W/ STRAP: use your strap to cultivate a new reference point for your posture and how you want to be as you move through your days. While working with the strap, repeat some affirmations to yourself: I am confident…. I am empowered…. I am here to…. Try these and any others that come to you as you work with this practice.
MEDITATION / KIRTAN KRIYA: below is the link to a recorded practice and an article from Kripalu. I’m glad you enjoyed this. It’s an amazing and beneficial practice to explore.

Client/Group progress summary

Client is embracing and integrating some of the asanas and practices we've worked on. She has been feeling somewhat lost as she adjusts to living in a new state. We discussed a Pausing Practice - checking in with her Gunas to see what she needs to support herself.

Reflection and self-evaluation

I'm really grateful to have such an eager and willing client. I'm learning to slow down and listen more and trust my gut when I'm in conversation with her. I'm also setting better boundaries with clarifying my scope of practice and that of her therapist.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

More of the same. Deepening into all that we've been doing. Talk more about meditation and what that means for her. We'll also explore guided visualization.
