| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |

| Adjustments and adaptations you made to your care plan, | I had to adapt my plans to what the group brought to each session. I was super helpful to open up the group with a check in, so I could gauge what was happening in the minds of each group member and help using the appropriate methods. For example, I had planned to do the crystal practice much earlier, but it became clear at one session that the biggest issue had to do with negative interpersonal experiences. So I added in the 4 locks and 4 keys and delayed doing the crystal demonstration. |
| Client/Group Goals | each member of the group reported better sleep. Giovanni had less angry outbursts. Sara and Marta both were sleeping more regularly and attending school and work respectively, more than in the past. |
| Report briefly on each Kosha below | Progress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas |
| Additional Information | |
| Feedback received from client/group, anecdotal or written | The sessions were held predominantly in Spanish with some English used by younger members. Mother stated that she really appreciated the sessions. She was in tears at the last session. States she wished she had found this sooner. Julia offered me her stuff animal. All members were grateful and had reported feeling calmer. |
| Sample of homework given between sessions (after initial homework) | 1. tradak to be done daily; 'drain the brain' or stream of consciousness writing. Continue asana practices and pranayama practices. |
| Personal reflection from doing client/group. | |
| Rough estimate of time spent in preparation and follow up documentation per session | 120 |
| What you would change with benefit of hindsight | Nothing; honestly, there's not much I would change. The clients really liked it. I think that it would be easier to do this in person, however. |
| Questions, problems, areas in which you’d like more support | Yes, I wonder if maybe I should shorted the course of these groups; perhaps make them 6 sessions instead of 8. I felt like I might be giving too many practices. Still however, since the group is short lived, it may be best to provide tools and give the information that the client does not have to do each one. It's different than an individual relationship in which there are not a set number of sessions that I have to work with the client. |
| Did you enjoy your service? | It was very satisfying. I also liked being able to do this in a clinic in which there are therapists who are seeing my clients and who I could talk to in case they needed additional support. This was a very positive experience. |
