Homework assignment to client/group

His homework is to sit still for a few minutes a few times a day, practice the dirgha pranayama or whatever other breathing exercise appeals to him, and do whatever physical asanas work for him at least once a day for a few minutes.

Activities

Today we followed a similar structure as last meeting: kosha check in, body scan, grounding and calming pranayama practices, with the addition this time of sun salutations in addition to our samasthiti, child’s pose, high lunge, warrior poses, utkatasana, adho mukha svanasana, and balance poses. Nadi Shodhana was also introduced.

Client/Group progress summary

Client seems to be really taking to yoga and was excited to meet again.

Reflection and self-evaluation

Today's meeting was very smooth and successful. I tried to slow things down and was somewhat able to do so, although he has a fast-paced mind as well.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

Next session I plan to do more of the same, with the possible introduction of longer breath retentions to nadi shodhana and more advanced asana options, like crow.
