| Activities | Centering with connection of breath and body and awareness into the places we hold stress and reminder to exhale to release tensions Asanas- gentle warming neck shoulders and seated cat cow, legs long knees, ankles Pranayama- Extended exhalation during class, Then Square breath even 4 parts in and out the nose. Meditation- Meditation of our body as a communicator sharing what are needs are, to remember to listen by pausing and breathing and being present. Philosophy- Yoga's definition on union and connection, that remembering that our thoughts can be controlled (Citta Vritti) with true presence and the energy of our breath. |
| Client/Group progress summary | This was a fun one to teach because while we we dicussing where we hold in the body you can see everyone soften, even if they weren't feeling stress at the moment. And even during meditation where we kept in the same theme you can see everyone nod at times. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | There is always a new lesson in lessons that have been taught over and over, a new story or perception. Sharing how my 10 year old was clenching her jaw was entire lesson i have repeated many times about stress and tensions and where we hold and yet it felt new. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
