| Client/Group progress summary | Client appears excited about starting sessions. Is in pain and sees PT and doctors as she is on a journey to find out why she can't walk very well. She meditates regularly and stated that she is looking forward to the yoga nidras. She also journals so prompts will be recommended. She's also familiar with the Yamas and Niyamas. Today we talked about Ahimsa, and that it includes taking care of oneself. She's going to try to cut back on internet news and media in general. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I'm looking forward to getting started. Each week will bring new challenges. We're working through what hurts and what doesn't. She chooses to speak to her health professionals and share information with me. I wish I could speak directly with the PT and doctors. I know how filtered information is. I didn't push at all, quickly hearing that she wanted to be in control of that. I hope that her physical health as well as mental health improves. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
| Plan for next session | More chair asanas followed by Somatic Meditation, Introduce Sutra 1.14, chanting and more on the Yamas & Niyamas. Add a journaling prompt. |
