Client/Group progress summary

Client talked about how she is very involved in something the first three months then loses her enthusiasm. She wants to work on this. She practiced her Om work three times this week and also had PT. She took time to contemplate what she could do to stay consistent with her practice.

It can be difficult to see the goodness in certain people so she prefers to try to block them, compartmentalize them. She wants to focus on what's good in her life. We talked about listing those things, some she spoke of in the session. We agreed that gratitude is something we all need to consider, and to state aloud to ourselves and to let others know.

Reflection and self-evaluation

It was a pleasure prompting then listening to the client's ponderings over the last week. She liked the term spiritual guide and spoke about nature. I need to think how I can incorporate nature into the practice. Find a way to help her distract herself from the goings-on in the world that create imbalance in her.

I need to set up my Zoom space at least 15 minutes before we begin so that I may be centered and ready for the client. When I wait until 10 minutes to the hour to start, I have less than 5 minutes to myself before we begin. It feels too rushed; I need to manage my time better.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session
