Client/Group progress summary

The client is doing well. He does home PT twice a day and each session take more than 30 minutes to complete. He feels stronger and has been doing yard work without pain (although he feels beat afterward); the client still tends to overdo it. The client’s range of motion has improved and his hamstring, though still tight, is better than he was in previous sessions. He is consistent with home PT, breathing and meditation.

Reflection and self-evaluation

The session focused on improving core strength, flexibility and stretching the hamstring. I asked the client to check with his PT whether he can skip evening PT practice (or do light stretching instead of a full PT) if he spends several hours doing physical work around the house to avoid overdoing beyond his limit. The client has been continually active since he is feeling much better. Restorative poses will be beneficial to counteract his rajasic energy and pitta dosha.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
