Client/Group progress summary

One client did not make it to the class today. Balance assessment shows improvement: everyone can stand on one leg and do tandem standing for 30 seconds.

Reflection and self-evaluation

We discussed Pratyahara at the beginning of the class: control of sense, action, mind, and breath. Shanmukhi mudra went okay; I think that explaining Pratyahara before the practice was a good approach. The experiment with Pratyahara meditation during savasana went well. I received positive feedback for the guided pratyahara. The clients were able to let go of all senses and relax completely.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

I will continue to include poses that improve flexibility, strength, and balance. I will discuss the benefits of meditation in the next class.
