Client/Group progress summary

The client felt that she has gained some flexibility of the hips and stability on her feet. Her mental and emotional health have improved; she has not felt ‘mad’ or ‘angry’ even on something that usually triggers negative emotion. When she felt anxious or stressed, she took a long deep breath. The client’s balance has improved slightly. After the session, she sent me a note to let me know that she slept very well.

Reflection and self-evaluation

The client did not have troubles with the eye movement, although I did not try circular movement. The client’s breathing pattern has improved. Nevertheless, I would like to wait for a couple more session before introducing other breathing techniques, especially the one that involves holding the breath, e.g., box breathing.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

Continue to improve balance and flexibility. Strengthening flow (e.g., Sun salutation) will be included to address Vata and Kapha imbalance.
