| Client/Group progress summary | Four the of the original participants attended this class. They have attended every class thus far. During the class, one of the participants received an urgent phone call with the news that a family member had died. She had to leave the class to take care of things. The class continued with the remainder of the students. This was the last class, and the students were grateful for having received these Yoga Therapy sessions. |
| Reflection and self-evaluation | I really enjoyed providing Yoga Therapy to these senior citizen participants. It was an endearing experience because they are very friendly and caring with each other. After these four sessions I feel much more confident in working with groups. Even though all of the participants found the joint freeing movements very helpful and want to have the information/the instructions that I will provide for them in Spanish so that they can continue them at home, I found that they enjoyed and benefited from the progressive Deep Relaxation - Yoga Nidra portion the most. |
| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |
