Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.

Adjustments and adaptations you made to your care plan,

I needed to adapt the Sun Salutation for him without using his wrists or chair. He related chair yoga to old people or as a sign that he is in bad shape. So I avoided using it with him.

Client/Group Goals

Any progress toward goals
He had very little progress toward his goals, which were a relief from physical, mental, and emotional stress. He didn’t do much of his homework.

Review and revision of goals.
The goals didn’t change.

Report briefly on each Kosha belowProgress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas
Physical level

He is doing sometimes joint freeing exercises, which are helping his movements. He and his rock band friends noticed the difference. (He is a drummer)

Energetic level

High level of energy, rajasic. He forces his breath when I ask him to pay attention to it. This got a little better.

Emotional

He still has some depression, and his sleep hasn’t improved much due to anxiety.

Intellectual / Sense of self

Intellectual stimulation: work, talking to his wife, his music.
This didn’t change.

Spiritual orientation and support plan

Slightly. He wrote in the intake: “All we have in life is love and the present moment.” His spiritual practice is gratitude. This didn’t change.

Support Plan
Walking in nature can be her way to connect spiritually.
Journaling mentally (difficult to right)
Better sleep: 3 part breath
Imagery and Sankalpa

Additional Information
Feedback received from client/group, anecdotal or written

I Absolutely recommend Anna to others.
I felt very spoiled to have one-on-one sessions tailored to just my needs.
Anna was very sensitive and open to my unique situation. It was awesome !!!

Rough estimate of time spent in preparation and follow up documentation per session5
What you would change with benefit of hindsight

I should have spent more time with him. If I had trauma-informed skills, I could have helped him better.

Questions, problems, areas in which you’d like more support

More support in informed trauma material.

Did you enjoy your service?

Yes, I enjoyed the service most of the time, but I didn't enjoy it when he didn't do the exercises.
