| Final Client/Group Report | After seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake) Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report. |

| Client/Group Goals | Their goals are to improve physical and mental well-being, including alleviating pain, strengthening joints, and reducing stress. |
| Report briefly on each Kosha below | Progress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas |
| Physical level | All three clients benefitted from the joint freeing exercises, which reduced discomfort. Liliana specifically noted improvements in her knee pain through breathing techniques and joint freeing practices. |
| Energetic level | The group found that the breathing practices significantly helped reduce stress and enhance their energy levels. Julie mentioned that her arthritis pain was impacted by weather changes, suggesting that awareness of environmental factors played a role in managing her condition. |
| Emotional | They recognized how their mental states affected their physical well-being, with Liliana admitting to feeling unhappy and striving to improve her emotional health through practices like swimming and yoga. |
| Intellectual / Sense of self | Julie, Liliana, and Jocelyne are developing a positive sense of self through their yoga practice, breathing practice and meditation. They also feel a sense of supporting each other, all of them are retired teachers, which is their common background. They still face challenges physically and mentally, but they will be able to manage using the tools they learned through yoga therapy sessions. |
| Additional Information | |
| Feedback received from client/group, anecdotal or written | Julie, Liliana and Jocelyne noted the benefits from the breathing practice introduced during sessions, particularly alternate nostril breathing. They reported feeling calmer and more relaxed, which helped reduce stress levels associated with their arthritis pain. They noticed improvements in their physical condition. For instance, Liliana reported benefits in her knee, while Julie acknowledged the connection between her arthritis pain and external factors like weather changes. Overall, they enjoyed joint freeing practice to improve physical well-being and Kirtan Kriya enjoyed to maintain mental well-being. |
| Sample of homework given between sessions (after initial homework) | 1. Joint Freeing Practice 2. Breathing Practice (alternate nostril breathing, Brahmani breathing) 3. Guided Meditation 4. Heel-dropping exercise, heel-to-toe walking 5. Kirtan Kriya meditation |
| Personal reflection from doing client/group. | |
| Rough estimate of time spent in preparation and follow up documentation per session | 60 |
| What you would change with benefit of hindsight | In future sessions, I would update my intake form simply, which would be easier for clients, I would gather additional information and Q & A at one/one assessment session. |
| Questions, problems, areas in which you’d like more support | I think the 3 to 8 clients would be the best for group sessions, correct? After completing this group, I have a feeling that one client talks a lot and someone is too quiet, what is the most important to keep in mind compared with individual session? |
| Did you enjoy your service? | Yes, I found the sessions highly rewarding. I was able to observe their gradual progress in reducing their stress and alleviating pain through meditation, breathing practice joint freeing practice and other physical practice. |
