HW-keep working on taking responsibility (Doc appointments, asking for what he needs)
Journal- keep taking notes
Breathing Feel the depth and work on some om on exhale to hear the nature of the exhale.
Movement keep exploring legs.

Activities

Questions? He has a red light above bed-he feels it maybe adding to some new headaches he has been getting.
Discussed his cannabis use and using just at night for pain and sleep. Working on being more clear less “brain fog “in day.
Back to Kleshas and what is an obstacle for him now?
(I gave him a talk I found on line re suffering and the 5 Kleshas.
Smoking? Cutting down maybe once in evening-night to help sleep.

HW follow up
Breath Keeps up his basics and using it in his exercises
Legs been much better. He has gained greater control and strength over L leg.
Journal? Writing some
Movement exercises may need to do more variety and greater strength training

Practice
Connect to breath, deepen and lengthen inhale and exhale -pause between. Again, we reviewed the slow, deep calm breath. He is paying attention to mechanics.
Exhale om (to help feel and hear the breath) Listen to the om and feel the vibration
Pause on spaces between IN retention and EX suspension Did this together he did quite well.
Overall he is coordinating his breath better.
Really seeing him coonect better to everything.

Joint movement
Continue to use his Om with movement. Alt sides exercise
Legs butterfly
Explore his ability

Bridge Still trying to muscle his pelvis up vs slow careful lifting. Repeated 6-8 times to relearn. He has habit of end goal accomplishment not moving carefully and slow to develop the “feeling”.

Discussed Kleshas why we practice? To help minimize the obstacles
Ignorance (ex: regarding impermanent as permanent) egoism, attachment, aversion/hatred, clinging to bodily life

Client/Group progress summary

In some ways he is progressing with his movement. He still connects to his bridge by summoning a lot of energy to launch him up. We worked today on the movement not the higher the better attitude. Other areas he is grasping this with joint movement. His PT work is most likely fueling his goal oriented attitude.

Reflection and self-evaluation

I continue to work with fine motor to larger movement and reminding him to continue to breath with the movement and focus more on how it feels vs what he wants to accomplish. The nerve connections are trying to repattern and he forgets that is part of the process to regain his movement and strength.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session

Continue with Klesha's-he is using the study to really understand his relations to others as well as himself.
Review what he read on the Kleshas. I gave him a nice paper on the Kleshas that I found online. He likes to read and process information so I am trying something new.

Report briefly on each Kosha belowProgress toward wellness or worsening reported by the client/group or that you observed in the following areas
