Client/Group progress summary

After discussing with her doctor, she has stop taking hydroxychloroquine. She is on a low dose of a different drug (I did not get the name of the drug). Her pain this week is not bad, but it is also the time of her cycle when the pain is not as severe. The client did her home practice, but still has a tough time saying ‘No’ to others and often exerts herself. She is a kind person and never says no when asked to do something. When discussed, she had reasons to justify her decision to say ‘yes’ to everything.

Reflection and self-evaluation

The client was afraid that I would be upset with her when I heard that she put too much on her plate. I told the client that I was not upset (which was true); it is all up to her to decide what best for her. I told her why I suggested her to set priority and set her boundary. I also suggested the client takes something off her plate if she wants to bring something else onto her plate.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
