Client/Group progress summary

One of the clients did not come to class today. The client who lost her daughter practiced Svadhyaya during the week – reflection on events that leading to her daughter’s death (what she did and what she did not do). I asked if she blamed herself; she said no. She explained that she looked at the situation objectively and found that it was healing for her. The second client practice ahimsa – self care by taking breaks from sitting in front of computer. The third client did not practice because she was dealing with her dog and was physically and emotionally exhausted from the whole deal.

Reflection and self-evaluation

We practiced loving kindness meditation and chanted Om at the end of the class to send healing vibration to the client’s dog; she appreciated it. Other clients offered support, and it was heartwarming to see.

Final Client/Group ReportAfter seeing your client/group (for at least 4 sessions including interactive intake)
Please remember practicum is a learning experience. You’ll learn more from sharing what’s accurate than from what might “look good”. Things you did well, not so well, problems and questions are all valid and useful tools to teach you. We can’t serve you to become the best clinician you can be if you don’t share your challenges and mistakes. Success is anything from which you learn. You can continue to add Session entries after submitting this Final Client/Group Report.
Plan for next session
